ADANNAY x Sensor Club: A cinematic live performance
Sensor Club is a live session show featuring artists from around the world. They spotlight the best grooves and collaborate with incredible artists to create immersive and cinematic performance videos that capture the magic of live music.
This week’s Sensor Club feature is our very own ADANNAY, who travelled to France to record and shoot with the Sensor Club team, as part of her recent European tour.
Directed by Sensor Club founder, Leo Nephtali, ADANNAY gives a captivating live performance of “Send For Me”, the first single from her EP “Home Is Where You Make It”. This song is a particularly special one to ADANNAY, telling the story of the kids left behind in the Caribbean when their parents emigrated to the UK as part of Windrush.
The video features her regular bandmates and collaborators: Dolapo Sanya on bass, Andre Rhule on drums and Billy Wright on guitar, who in fact helped co-write the chorus of this song.
