Introduction
Twice a year, Abubilla Music embarks on our bi-annual retreat to our Spanish studio—a place where creativity, collaboration, and growth thrive. The latest trip brought together our talented artists, Adannay and The Deniros, alongside session keyboard player, Leo, and our in-house production and recording team. A schedule was developed consisting of sessions based around: Studio recording, artistic voice work, songwriting and fanbase development.
Artistic Voice Work
Our retreat commenced with a deep dive into the essence of Adannay and The Deniros as artists. Our dedicated team worked closely with them, building on the work already done In London, to ensure everything they will record is in line with their own artistic voice. Together, we explored ways to maintain consistency and foster growth while ensuring these voices were seamlessly represented in their songs. Through discussions and introspection, Adannay and The Deniros continued to solidify their musical identities, setting the stage for authentic and resonant expressions of their art.
Recording sessions
As the retreat progressed, we dedicated time in the studio to record Adannay and The Deniros' latest creations. With their artistic voices in mind, we aimed to capture the essence of their artistry in every note, melody, and lyric. The studio became a space where their talents flourished, resulting in captivating songs that showcase their unique styles and maintain their musical integrity.
Fanbase Development
Alongside the recording process, we placed emphasis on nurturing the fanbases of Adannay and The Deniros. Free time was enjoyed by lounging by the pool, allowing for laughter, joy, and an opportunity to recharge creative energies.
The Deniros' Live Performances
Our retreat reached its crescendo as The Deniros took their exhilarating energy beyond the studio. Armed with their music and passion, they embarked on a journey, playing two electrifying gigs across Spain. The live performances allowed them to connect directly with their audience, creating memorable experiences that transcended the boundaries of the studio and ignited the spark of live music.
