Archie writes songs and comedy, and sometimes combines them into what others have called ‘musical comedy’ but what he prefers to think of as pseudo-comedomusicology. He has absolutely no delusions of grandeur re: the artistic value of his Body of Work. He plays the sax and sometimes guitar, bass, keys and EWI and he loves to sing but sometimes gets a bit shy about it. Don’t look, now he’s blushing!
Archie has been involved with Abubilla for a few years as both an artist and as a core member of our internal team. He fuses his musical and comedic talents in his artist persona, Jazz Emu.
As just Archie, he is a key member of our in-house writing and production team Passage T, where he works on songs from their inception right through to the end production. He is also a valuable set of ears for our other artists, giving feedback on writing (music and lyrics), production, and final mixes.
