The Deniros release danciest track yet with new single “Feels”
London-based psychedelic rock ‘n’ soul band The Deniros return with their most danceable track yet. ‘Feels’, dropping on 28 November, blends funky grooves, soaring brass, and an irresistibly catchy bass riff to deliver an anthem of connection and self-expression.
Written by frontman Kris at the age of 17, ‘Feels’ began as a confessional ode to unspoken feelings. Now evolved, it’s a joyful exploration of expressing love—romantic or platonic—and finding support in openness. "This song is about being honest with the people who matter to you," says Kris. "It’s okay to lean on others, and that honesty enriches all our lives—just no trauma-dumping!"
Drawing on the diverse energies of Fleetwood Mac, Maribou State and Funkadelic, ‘Feels’ channels a fusion of psychedelic funk and soulful dance grooves. A driving kick drum and tight, snappy guitars anchor the track, while an electrifying saxophone and trumpet build-up push the song into club-worthy territory. Fans can expect a sonic journey that bridges The Deniros’ signature improvisational style with a fresh appeal to new audiences.
The Deniros have built a cult following with their high-energy live performances, selling out venues across London and drawing comparisons to Fontaines D.C. and Sports Team. After turning heads with a standout performance at Cala Mijas Festival 2023 and their popular residency at the National Portrait Gallery, The Deniros are cementing their place as one of the UK’s most exciting indie bands.
