Winyo x Sensor Club: An exclusive live performance of Winyo’s upcoming single, Baragoje

Sensor Club is a live session show featuring artists from around the world. They spotlight the best grooves and collaborate with incredible artists to create immersive and cinematic performance videos that capture the magic of live music.

This week’s Sensor Club feature is our very own Winyo, who travelled to France from Kenya to record and shoot with the Sensor Club team, as part of his European tour in summer 2024.

Directed by Sensor Club founder, Leo Nephtali, ADANNAY gives a captivating live performance of “Send For Me”, the first single from her EP “Home Is Where You Make It”. This song is a particularly special one to ADANNAY, telling the story of the kids left behind in the Caribbean when their parents emigrated to the UK as part of Windrush.

Winyo is one of Kenya's most cherished contemporary artists, celebrated for his ability to blend traditional benga with Afro jazz, R&B and blues. Directed by Sensor Club founder, Leo Nephtali, this performance is an exclusive preview of his upcoming single, Baragoje. This track tells a story of emerging out of darkness to a new chapter of hope, resilience and change.
